I made this last night and it was a huge hit!! Because my grandson has an allergy to wheat I substituted the tomato soup equally for spaghetti sauce.

I will add more cabbage next time, didn't have enough for my taste. It kind of tastes like spanish rice. Yummy!

I added 1/2 cup cheddar cheese between layers and 1/2 cup on top - this added more flavor.

I would use less cabbage, and more meat. I mistakenly only used 1 can of tomato soup and it was fine.

If you like cabbage rolls you will love this recipe, and it was very easy to make.

I reduced the amount of rice to 1 cup and substituted one can of stew tomatoes for the tomato soup. My family really enjoyed it.

My family likes cabbage, but even with the zesty Italian the dish is pretty bland. Kids would hardly touch it.
