Casseroles are easy. Stuffing cabbage is hard. In this recipe, you get stuffed cabbage flavor with casserole simplicity. (You're welcome!)

I made this recipe on St. Patty's and everyone loved it! I used the advice previous and used the large can of crushed tomatoes in lieu of the tomato soup. Turned out perfect and I have never cooked cabbage before!
Very good, easy and plenty of leftovers. My two sons enjoyed it, so that is half the battle. Will try something next time though to make it a bit more flavorful-maybe some tomato paste.
I thought this recipe was really good. After reading some of the reviews, I added montreal steak seasoning to the hamburger while it was cooking. This seasoning is awesome. I also added a tablespoon of sugar to cut the acid of the soup. I learned this tip from my husband, who gets terrible heartburn from tomato products. It came out really good. Next time I will try it with tomato paste, just to see what the flavor is like. Thanks Kraft!
Everyone really enjoyed this meal....even my finickey brother...I did add 1/4 c water to the cabbage with the salad dresing, made it more moist..also added 4oz tomatoe Sauce to the beef...I like a more tomatoe taste with my goumbkie...
This recipe was so easy and sooo good! It's much easier than making actual gulumpkes, and tastes exactly the same. So I will definitely be making this recipe again.
I love this recipe. I love cabbage rolls, but they are such a pain, that this gives me the same flavor only 10x easier. I make this all the time. The only thing I add is cheese on top. YUM!
Very good. Everyone wanted seconds.
I made this recipe a little differently and it came out pretty good. I treated more as if I were making cabbage rolls. I used tomato sauce instead of soup, I also used lots of pepper, garlic, a dash more of salt, and I increased the amount of ground beef. The concept is a great foundation for a recipe that needs to be dressed up to your specific taste.
YUMMY! I will be making this again. We loved it. I used tomato sauce not the soup also I added about 1/2 a cup of parmesan to the meat mixture it really gave it great flavor!
Great recipe - easy to make and tastes great! I did alter the recipe a tiny bit by using 2 lbs of meat instead of just 1 lb. I did feel that 2 cups of rice was far too much so next time I make this I'll cut it back to 1 cup of rice. (I prefer a meatier casserole). Next time I think I'll also add an extra can of tomato soup as I like mine a little more moist. This recipe made a large pan with plenty of leftovers! A great inexpensive dish for large families on a budget!
