Great recipe with a couple of adjustments. Replaced soup with (1) can fired roasted tomatoes (1) can italian diced tomatoes. and adjust the amount of liquid (water) to account for juice with tomatoes and used chicken or beef stock instead of water. Added a tablespoon +/- of catalina salad dressing and worcestershire sauce for additional flavor. * Would consider using sun dried tomato vinaigrette in place of the zesty italian with the cabbage and onion.

I did not like this recipe at all. My expectations were that it would have more flavor and become a replacement recipe for cabbage rolls. Won't happen in my house.

Excellent FAST & easy week night recipe. I made the recipe exactly only adding a sprinkle of caraway seeds to the cabbage part bc we love that taste.

I made this, with my hubby saying I don't think I will like this, it was a hit, I will make again, and actually the leftovers are better than the fresh, either way great recipe...

It was delicious. I substituted 2 can of tomato soup for 2 can of tomato sauce of the Italian spice blend and it was what I had on hand. I also used regular rice not instant. I forgot the onions. But was wonderful. Thank you.

I made this recipe on St. Patty's and everyone loved it! I used the advice previous and used the large can of crushed tomatoes in lieu of the tomato soup. Turned out perfect and I have never cooked cabbage before!
