I've just made these muffins,and instead of fresh blueberries i have used one cup apples finally chopped (which is equal to one medium-size apple). I also added some cinnamon. They really came up great, but it's true that it needs little bit more sugar. I have used 1/2 cup, next time i will try 3/4 cup or 1 whole cup sugar.

I liked the muffins, but my husband though double was too many blueberries--so if I make it again I'll have to nix some of the berries. These were very moist muffins.

The blueberries seemed to ruin the muffin-they tasted sour.

This was terrible. Don't waste your time or money!!! My husband and in-laws both agreed these had no taste.

These freeze and thaw great. I used Splenda in place of the sugar and applesauce in place of the oil; I also used buttermilk in place of the water. I have also used blueberry yogurt in place of the liquid; turned out very well. Will make them again and again.

My family and I didn't really care too much for the muffins. I made them the exact way yet they still turned out not so good. I don't know if it was the cereal that was in it or what not.
