This salad was wonderful! And so quick and easy. We will be making this salad often. The dressing does have a lot of grams of fat, so I put a little less than the recipe calls for. Still tasty.
Loved it. I couldn't find broccoli slaw so substitued with regular slaw and added thinly sliced pieces of broccoli...We shared at potluck...the bowl was emptied in minutes....Thanks for you creative recipes Kraft!!!
Very good! Great on a hot summer day, for lunch or dinner. I added a can of mandarin oranges (drained) and used chopped almonds instead of cashews. Might want to sub a low-cal dressing for the poppyseed if you're counting calories (lowfat catalina or Italian would be good). Tastes even better the second day!!
This is an awesome salad! I only used 1 red pepper and that was enough for my taste. Brought it to a potluck salad supper and it was a huge hit. Will definitely make it again.
Very good - great hot summer night salad. I add mandarin oranges and more veggies, such as cucumbers & califlower and even some black beans!
This is a good recipe. Easy to make too!! I added peanuts and also Fresh Gournet crispy onions (its a crunchy topping for salads). Be ready to crunch alot...
Very Good! Better if you can let sit over night. My family loves this one.
Fresh and crispy, and very tasty! One red pepper was more than enough for me and I skipped the carrots because there were already plenty in the pre-made slaw. I also only used 1/4 cup of the poppyseed dressing and used a 1/4 cup light Italian dressing to make it a bit healthier.
Could not find broccoli slaw, used a pre packed slaw made of broccoli, carrots & red cabbage. I think it worked well. Some people were not fond of the pineapple, but I loved it. I also let people add their own cashews and dressing. The left overs (dressing on the side) made a wonderful lunch the next day as well. Would be great to take to a picnic of pot luck. Very flavorful.
This was a great salad for a hot summer night! I added 2 chopped green onions and thought that added a nice contrast. Since my husband won't eat cashews I let everybody add in their own toppers and put out cashews, almond slivers and crunchy Asian noodles. It was a hit and I will make it again!
