I followed the recipe exactly except used Country Time pre-sweetened lemonade mix instead of Kool Aide pre-sweetened lemonade. It was a flop! Cooked required amount of time and tested doneness several times. Looked good when I took it out of the oven but 5 min. later it was half the height and looked like solid dough. No idea why this happened but am throwing recipe away.

Cake tasted good, moist. Did not look good because it stuck to pan. Thank goodness it was just an every night dessert for family, they were fine tried to make me feel better. Even though it's everyday you still want it to be pretty. Next time I will grease & flour the pan.

Everyone loved this cake, very lemony! Very easy to prepare. (I made it in a 13x9 pan and baked for about 35 minutes, and substituted the juice from the lemons for the water.)

This was an excellent summer dessert. Everyone at our picnic loved it and wanted the recipe. I altered it a bit using Country Time lemonade mix rather than Kool-Aid and strawberries instead of blueberries. What a refreshing summer treat - try it!

I should have known better than to follow a recipe that called for Kool-Aid for crying out loud! This cake was the worst! It didn't rise and the flavor was so bad I had to throw it out. I've made lemon cakes before and this one is more like sour grapes! Blech!!!!

I made this without the blueberries and it was still a hit-very moist and not too tart.
