Came out delicious. Needs "2" cans of mushroom soup for sure, even a little water. Did not add mushrooms. Could not find "A-1" brand of marinade so used another which only used 1/4 cup. Browned the meat on both sides some flour rubbed in it w/S & P & garlic powder.

this recipe yields pure YUM!!! i also couldn't find a1 marinade (kraft, what's up with that?)so i had to use another that was herb and garlic... i took the advice of some of the commentors and used 2 cans of cream of mushroom... delicious!

At first I wondererd if you could make a good pot roast without a heavy beef gravy or for that matter one that was reasonably healthy. Guess what.....YOU CAN! Easy, reasonably quick, absolutely delish and men like it to. WOW! Chunkiechipmunk

Very good. The cream of mushroom and garlic and herb marinade made a delicious sauce. Used a different brand of marinade since couldn't find A1.

This was soooooooooo good my family loved it will make it again and again wasnt any left in the pan so much flavor you must make thus
