To simplify this recipe, I would use white chocolate CHIPS or CHUNKS instead of the baking bars. Other than chopping up those bars, the cake was very easy to make. However, the batter was SO thick I found it necessary to add extra orange juice. The flavor was good. I didn't think it was too sweet at all, but I did think it was a little dry and I only baked it for 55 minutes. Next time, I will test its doneness between 45 and 50 minutes.

I read the one comment about it being to sweet so I made a few adjustments with that in mind. Splenda makes a wonderful brown sugar now so I used that in the place of regular brown sugar. And used a smidgen less Splenda Baking Sugar where sugar was called for. In the place of white chocolate I used sugar free dark chocolate. Still VERY GOOD!

this sounds very good, but my sister is allergic to oranges and would like to have a taste of it, is it ok if i substitute the orange ingredients with lemon and the cranberries with blueberries? <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Mary ~ One Tbsp. grated lemon peel can be substituted for the orange peel. Omit orange juice. Blueberries can be substituted for the cranberries. >>>

Love it !!!! I made this cake yesterday and my friends were berry, berry happy , they love it too!!! I just ad a little lemon juice and a lot more orange juice to the sauce. Thank you !!
