Fall Tabletop Idea
It's easy to decorate your harvest table using the fruits and foliage of the season. Make fall votive candle holders out of mini pumpkins or gourds by cutting out the stems, creating holes to fit small votive candles. Scatter colorful fall leaves, acorns, pinecones and chestnuts over your table. Hunting for these items is a great opportunity to spend time outside with your kids.
Make a fresh, vibrant centerpiece that will be inviting on a winter table. Arrange some greenery on a pedestal. Stack with clementines and more green leaves. Make a cheerful and colorful flower arrangement for your winter holiday table. Fill a clear glass vase about halfway with fresh cranberries. Add white flowers and a little greenery. The cranberries will keep everything in place and add great color. To set a very golden table that will glimmer in the candlelight, paint terra-cotta flowerpots with gold spray paint. Paint gold glitter on the tips of pinecones and the tops of acorns. Fill the pots with the pinecones and acorns. Glue them together as you stack them so that they can be piled really high. Arrange votive candles around the pots on the table.
