I love the strawberry whipped cream with the chocolate cake... a whole new take on chocolate covered strawberries. Delicious.

It's not really "one bowl" since you have to use a second bowl (or at least wash out the first one) to melt the second round of chocolate for the drizzle on top. I ended up having to add a little bit more flour to the batter since it was too watery. But overall it was VERY yummy and everyone loved it! The strawberry whipped topping really adds something nice to flavor of the chocolate in the cake.

Looks beautiful and tastes great, definate keeper for future dinner parties!! I added chocolate chips to the cake batter to add sweetness and only baked 28 min, it was perfect, not dry at all. My store doesn't carry strawberry cool whip, so I bought plain and added some thawed frozen strawberries. Used only a few sliced fresh ones on top. Crushed up some choc chips (put them in a zip loc and hit with a meat hammer) and sprinkled them on top, then drizzled some white chocolate too. YUM and SO PRETTY!!

I made this cake and everyone loved it...plus it looked beautiful......I am making it again tonight. The only thing I did different was add more strawberries and took about 6 whole strawberries and dipped them in warm bakers chocolate, let it harden and it looks great all around the cake and strawberry lovers drull over it.
