Island Jerk Chicken

Island Jerk Chicken recipe
In this case, "jerk" means spicy and succulent chicken infused with cinnamon, cloves and a little cayenne. One bite and you'll swear you feel a slight warm island breeze.

Ranch dressing? How can you call that "jerk" chicken? I've made chicken using ranch dressing, and I've made jerk chicken. There is no similarity.

this sounds like a recipe that my family will like. I have grandkids, and they don't like their food too spicy, so this will do nicely!!

I had never had jerk chicken and was a little nervous about the ingrediants, but I thought this was a wonderful recipe and extremely easy to prepare! I didn't have peppercorn ranch, so I subed regular ranch then added fresh cracked black pepper. Also, I served this on top of a bed of mixed greens, then I added mangoes to give it an island flair. For the dressing, I took honey mustard dressing and added a little lemon juice and zest. Different, but a great break from the usual!
