I needed a quick dessert to take to a church dinner and I remembered seeing this receipe in the Kraft Foods magazine. It was super easy to fix (put it all together on Sunday morning while the coffee brewed) and was a hit at the dinner. The cake plate literally was scraped clean! I think this one will become my "special" dessert. Hey, even a guy can do this one!

this is a verrrrrrry good cake, you can try using frozen strawberries and a can of starwberry juice (frozen drink mix). Either way there are many options with this recipie...IT"S WONDERFUL!!!

I'm currently working on losing weight, but needed something sweet to eat and serve my guests. I took this recipe, left out the cake and used Cool Whip Free and Sugar Free Jello pudding mix. Cool, delicious and sweet with about 60 calories per 1/2 cup serving. Just a small dish of something special without added sugar or calories. Took the hint and sliced the strawberries in too

I used the suggested low calorie low fat Jello alternative and sliced the strawberries to add them into the filling. This made a delicious dessert and fruit side dish without the carbs!

A total no-brainer. Made this for my office's monthly luncheon, everyone really enjoyed it. Especially my diabetic supervisor who loves pineapple.

I've made this recipe several times. If you add coconut to the filling it gives a delightful tropical taste to an already wonderful dessert.

Great for diabetics. I used angel food cake mix with one can of crushed pineapple, mix well, and bake in two 9" cake pans at 350 for the cake.

Very good and tasty. If you like pinapple, you'll love this recipe. You'll want to make it 2 or 3 times a month.
