I've been eating these cakes for as long as I can remember and I am making them for my kids and we all love them. Great for holidays when you can use whatever flavor/color for the holiday.

I made this using strawberry jello and white cake mix. I whipped cream myself and folded in a new strawberry cream pudding. I made it for a work birthday party and it was gone in no time! I will make it again trying different flavors!

The first time I followed the recipe, and I found that there was just to much jello for the cakes. However, the second time I made the cake, I cut back the jello to one (1) cup, or a half cup per cake. Gee, it was great. And everyone at my table asked for the recipe. If you haven't tried it, you must....it is terrific! Jeannette Howell, Michigan

This cake is great, all ingredients can be low fat or sugar free and it is still awesome. It is light and deliciously fruity. I loved it!

Very versatile. I tried it with lemon gelatin and then made lemon pudding and folded it into the whipped topping for frosting. It was a crowd pleaser.

I made it with white cake and strawberry jello, was decadent!! Then I made it with French vanilla cake and raspberry jello! Yum, you must try this recipe!

I have made this cake twice. Once using the black cherry jello then using strawberry jello. My family loved both.

This cake tastes very light and refreshing. My husband said it was the best cake he's had in a very long time.
