I made this cake and instead of putting food coloring in the Cool Whip, I put a little bit of the jell-o, which gave the frosting a little more flavor. Very tasty!

GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is really good and light and refreshing. I am trying to watch calories and this was a great low calorie dessert. I will try this again using other sugar free jellos!
I didn't realize just how long people have been doing this. I didn't quite follow this recipe as I tried a different combination knowing just how many crazy different ways this can be made. I used white cake and stawberry Jello. Whipped cream for frosting and lined around the whole top edge with fresh strawberries. Needless to say it didn't last long. Next time I'm trying the lemon cake with lime Jello. Can't wait! If you haven't tried it yet you're really missing out!
the jello in this cake makes it super moist, flavorfull, and delicious! definetely a favorite!
I made this for my husband's birthday bbq this weekend and it was a huge hit; I cut it into 16 slices and still didn't get a chance to try it myself! I'll definitely be making this again.
