A favorite here at our house. I usually make it as a sheet cake, and experiment with different flavors of Jello.

You can also use sugar free jello to cut back on calories- it was a big hit at the party!

I was very sad that this did not come out that good. I used the sugar free jello and you could tell it was sugar free, strange after taste. I followed recipe to the T and I found the cherry flavor was WAY TO STRONG and very over powering!! Next time I will use less jello mix and see how it goes.

I made it from a strawberry cake and strawberry Jello though! It was so good my husband just loved it!

This was soooo good. The only thing was that I used different flavors of jello and everyone was trying to figure out how I got the different colors. I will make this again!!!

i wondering when making this cake do i mix the jello when the cake hasnt been in the oven yet? or do i mix the jello into the cake after it comes out of the oven.im going to make it like someone else did in here in a 13 x 9 inch pan.one layer.choc cake with black cherry jello with choc.icing.i think it sounds rather good.was wondering how to swirl the jello into the cake though.

I made it in a 9X13 with raspberry sugar free jello. It was delicious, flavorful but not too rich.
