Moist white cake becomes way cooler with stripes of Jell-O Gelatin. And it's made with better-for-you ingredients.

Really good kids loved it! Would make again maybe using a different flavor jell-o just to try.

Easy to make and it's really good. I used strawberry jello instead of the black cherry.

This recipe was simply awful! The cake tasted horrible and looked very sloppy.

My daughters (ages 10, 9, and 2) absolutely loved it. We don't ever make cake, cause they are just too sweet, but we gave this a try, and it's so cool and refreshing - you'll love it! We'll be making this one a lot, and probably substituting different flavored Jello gelatins for different tastes. Wonderful! This recipe is a keeper!

I remember my mother making this cake when I was little; now, I love making it with my little ones. After we have baked and cooled the cake, they get to do the poking, which they think is great fun!

This cake was a hit! Very light and refreshing (especially after all of the heavier holiday sweets). I will be making this again in other flavors too!

Thank you so much for listing this recipe on your site. It is one that I made a long time ago and could not remember amounts. This is tried and true wow for parties. Can be any color you choose. Tip for those who want to dress it up: top with jelly candy gum drops, orange or lemon slices what ever works!!!
