OH MY GOSH! We had this with lime jello for Christmas and it was so cool and refreshing. Definately going to be my birthday cake.

I frequently make this recipe with wite cake and sugar-free jello... any flavor is good. It is a great light refreshing dessert that really tastes great. You don't miss the sugar at all and the fat free cool whip is really good too. This is especially good for a barbeque or carry in luncheon. Very easy and great!

I just made this cake last night for my parents because we moved into a new state and there are no good bakeries around here. I am highly impressed that a cake could taste so good with half the calories! Not to mention it was easy to make and fun!

A family favorite for years passed down from my Grammy to me and now to my daughter!! She's 8 and this cake is her favorite!! We use other colors at Easter, 4th of July and Halloween. We also use red and green for Christmas!! ENJOY!!!!

I remember this cake from when my Mom made it when I was little. I used strawberry jello and put fresh strawberries on the top. I got great comments about it.

I like it as chocolate cake with cherry jello in it. SOOOOO moist. I just make it as a regular rectangular single-layer cake with whip cream on the top. Everyone is always so surprised how much they like it.

I love this idea it's a great way to add something special to a cake. I'm experimenting with different flavors of cake and Jell-o. Tonight I tried strawberry cake with grape Jell-o. It was pretty good but hard to see the purple strips of Jell-o in the cake. Next week I'm going to try lemon cake with lime Jell-o.
