Molten Chocolate Surprise

Molten Chocolate Surprise recipe

It's what's on the inside that counts, especially when we're talking this ooey-gooey, chocolate dessert. Our version is surprisingly easy to whip up at home.

This was great! I used a packaged cookie dough instead of chips ahoy. It seemed to make a better fit in the bottom. I put chocolate chips in the center for the "molten" effect, that way I could bake them all the way through. The leftovers kept very well that way.

Loved this recipe. Super simple to make and the cookie was a great surprise to my kids. I have already started brain storming on what other types of cookies to use.

This was a really easy recipe and my family loved it. I added icecream with it on the side.

My only problem was that the cookies were too large for my muffin pans until I put them in my silcone pan. Even then they did end up exactly flat like the picture. They tasted very good so who cares if they weren't like the picture

We tried with Chips Ahoy cookies and MOST (not all) were too small to fit in the pan. Some did fit when we dropped them in on a perfect horizontal. With that said, the oreo was preferable from a flavor standpoint. Has anyone tried this recipe without the cupcake liners? Just curious b/c a smooth edge may make a better presentation.

Really sweet. Luckily for me I have a sweet tooth. Use the chewy cookies instead of crunchy, they fit in the cups better.
