My husband has a thing for scalloped potatoes with cheese. So I made this thinking I could SNEAK in some vegetables. It worked! I made this part of our Easter meal and everyone loved it. Next time, I will add more cheese to the mixture though.
My family is big on scalloped potatoes, but I am not. I decided to make this to change things up a little, and everyone was impressed!
bella: I made this recipe last night for dinner it was suberb my boyfriend loved it . I did not cook the potatoes first. I cooked the scallop potatoes longer i did not add carrots to the dish. I added little dollops of butter between the layer. Closer to the end I added a little more cheddar on the top . The dish came out perfect it was creamy not mushy but a suberb dish. I would make this dish again it was a hit...
This was first time I made this recipe and I made it for a cover dish dinner. I increased the recipe for 10 pounds of potatoes and that wasn,t enough. It was gone in 15 miniutes. I was asked for the recipe so many times I put "Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes and Carrots" at!
Was delicious, I added some salt –free Garlic & Herb spice. My husband loved it.
It was easy to make, great flavor, very creamy. My husband liked it very much. I'll try this recipe again!
This is a good side dish
My husband and I really enjoyed this without any changes. I considered making it again and adding chicken to make it a complete one dish meal.
My family really loved this dish. I doubled the recipe and froze the other casserole for a quick side dish. This was a great way to use produce on sale. Please continue to provide this quality of recipe!
Although it tasted Ok, it seemed like more work than it was worth. I'd just make regular scalloped potatoes next time.
