Very good, but I added quite a bit of pepper and a little garlic for added flavor!

my family didn't like it, may be because it wasn't hard and dry, it was soft and watery.

i really liked this, and the cayenne really added to the goodness of the dish. Next time i wouldn't put in onions though, i might try celery.

We enjoyed this recipe very much. I did carmelize the onions before adding them instead of boiling them. Then, I used less oil in the cheese sauce (I used olive oil instead of butter.) I also used baby finger carrots instead of sliced carrots. Other than that, I followed the recipe pretty closely

I didn't use the carrots, but it tasted great! Add a little cheese on the top, and it's completely delectable! Perfect for any cheese lover.

Loved this recipe! I would use less carrots next time because it tasted too sweet like the carrots. Otherwise the potatoes and cheese was Excellent!

Made this on Easter - very good. Beacuse it was going to be a busy day, I boiled the vegetables the day before and refrigerated them; then made the sauce and assembled the dish the next day. It came out great.

I made these on Easter. I didn't have room in the oven so i put them in a foil pan on the grill. Everyone loved them! I will definately make them again.

I used sliced sweet potatoes instead of the white potatoes and I used a dash of nutmeg instead of the red pepper. I served it at Easter dinner and I received many compliments, so it is definitely a keeper!

my husband loves scalloped potatoes and I was looking to put a new twist on the same old regular recipe and this turned out to be great. the slight sweetness of the carrots adds a new kick.
