I make this dish often. My whole family loves it. And it is very easy.
It was fast and easy but I was disappointed in the taste. I followed the recipe to the letter and I didn't care for the taste, nor did my husband and son. The parm cheese didn't seem to mix well at the end with the dressing, for some odd reason. It had a strange taste (I used fresh parm cheese). The carrots also did not cook down soft either. After reading the other reviews, I will try this recipe again but I will use some of the ideas suggested by the other cooks - cover the dish while cooking, some additional seasoning on the chicken and different cheese topping.
Everyone in the family loved this meal. It was so simple to put together and just bake. I would definitely serve this again.
My wife and I enjoyed this recipe. The only change that we both thought would help would be shredded chedder cheese sprinkled on the top. Microwaved leftovers were so-so; The carrots didn't heat up enough and the broccoli gut a little rubbery.
Great hit with my family! I did microwave the chopped up vegetables first for about 7-8 min. and put in a 2.5 qt casserole w/lid. Juice did boil over, so next time will try a flat casserole. Chicken was not dry and vegetables cooked perfectly.
Very good!! Definately would make again. I need to double the recipe. My 4 boys gobbled it up and everyone wanted more!!! I read the reviews before making it, so I decided to leave the lid on the entire time and it turned out great. Thanks!! Its a keeper!!
Next time I would start the potatoes and carrots before the chicken. The chicken was dry by the time to veggies were cooked.
I made a huge pan, family Loved it, even went back for leftovers until it was all GONE~
I used a full cup of the dressing and next time I will cook the carrots a little bit before adding them in, as they were still kinda crunchy and I don't like crunchy carrots. But otherwise really good. Smelled wonderful while cooking. Oh and I was out of parmesan so I used a little mozzarella instead and it was still super yummy. My kids loved it too, and they are sooo picky! We will definitely make this again and again! I might try adding some different veggies or using different light dressings to experiment!
Its one of our favorites!
