This recipe has to much cheese, I would leave out the mac and cheese and add some life to it,add my own pre cooked mac ,some vegtables and a sharp cheese but not to much. Spice it up some also.

This was easy dish to make. However its not a great 'leftovers' type dish. I found the day after the macaroni to be too mushy.

After reading reviews of this being "bland" - I made it a little differently. First I fried the onions and zucchini in Olive Oil, Butter and salted - until completely soft and done. Removed to a warm plate. Cooked Chicken in Olive Oil and Butter with Salt and Emeril's Original Essence Seasoning until Almost Done. Then I added Chicken Broth Instead of Water to the chicken-added macaroni and cooked until done - 12 min. THEN I ADDED back the vegetables, tomato's, cheese sauce - this was more flavorful then the original recipe. =) Just be sure to Salt, Salt, Salt between each sequence.

This is a great dish! I still can't believe I made! I misread it and cooked the tomatoes with the pasta and chicken, and it still turned out great! Definately a great way to disguise veggies from kids....or a picky fiancee!

made it for the first time tonight. It was easy quick and REALLY GOOD...I substituted the mac and cheese with the spiral mac and cheese and added italian seasoning and fresh thyme instead of the oregano because i didnt have fresh oregano. The family really liked it...so what else can I ask for
