I thought this tasted amazing, loved the creamy texture and hint of lemon. Best part is that it is super easy and takes no time at all. Great week night meal!

Made this the other night. The flavor of the asparagus overpowered everything else and really killed the dish. My Husband was nice and said it was okay. I even tried adding Parmesan cheese as suggested but it didn't help. I will not make it again. I gave it a 2 due to easy and quick preparation.

I like the recipe a great deal. I put in some garlic and extra cream and it was tasted great. I dried up quick though but other than that it's a great recipe I'll make again.

It had a great taste. I suggest making the rice with lemon sauce seperate from the rest and mixing together. Also mixing the lemon juice and cream cheese together first made it easier.

I DO NOT THINK IT RIGHT TO BE CALLED A RISOTTO! IT DOES NOT HAVE ARBORIO RICE ---MIN RICE IS NOT THE SAME KIND OF RICE---I AGREE THAT LEMON RICE WITH ASPARGUS IS GOOD BUT THIS RECIPE IS DECEIVING

My finicky 17 year old was not particularly pleased with the combination but finally admitted he kinda liked it and it was a great way to add some asparagus to a recipe. I did not have minute rice so I used Italian Risotto that I had in the cabinet. Cooking Risotto takes some time so I added the asparagus near the end but at least 10 mins to cook.
