Very disappointed with this recipe. I even added more cheese than the recipe called for and found it too be very bland and not very cheesy. I did put a breadcrumb topping which was probably the best part, but should have read some of the reviews before preparing it and maybe I could have added some extra zip. Kraft, I think you should revise this recipe.

When I asked my husband to make this as I had an appointment he looked the recipe over and said sure, sounds simple. It was simple to make and it was delicious and I think my husband liked the fact he had cooked dinner and gave me the night off. -Tampa, Florida

We all loved this! I did add 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion strips & it boosted the flavor up a nice notch. Other than the high sodium content, which we made allowance for the next day, this will be a "keeper"!

I would make it again if I happened to have all the ingredients on hand, and nothing else to fix. Didn't have a lot of cheese flavor, but was easy to make.

I have made this recipes three times and everytime I have received compliments on it. It tastes wonderful and the prep is easy and then from there you just have to bake it. It's so simple that I think it would be ideal for a younger person (around 11 or 12) to cook. You can easily add more of the ingredients you like also (myself being a big ham lover). If you have leftovers, they will still taste great if not better than the day before. This is an awesome recipe whether you are: short on time, still new to cooking, or even a seasoned pro. I recommend it to everyone, Happy baking!

This is a great recipe, with some modifications. I knew it would be too bland and too high-fat for my family's tastes, so I followed the recommendations of others here. I used two boxes of regular blue-box MacNCheese (the powder kind), made as directed on the box but with half the margarine and non-fat milk. I used the same amount of broccoli in this recipe (*not* cooked with the noodles) and double the ham. I added a whole chopped onion and a large clove of pressed garlic, and about 1/2 a teaspoon of dry hot mustard. It could even have been spicier, with a dash of Tabasco. Also to cut cholesterol I used two whole eggs and 3 egg whites. Finally, I added some extra fine bread crumbs to the cheese topping and sprayed the top thoroughly with butter flavor baking spray to make a crispy but non-fattening topping. I baked it all in a large 9"x13" casserole/ cake pan at 350 for about 30 minutes, then increased it to 425 for 10 minutes to brown the top. Delicious! We have enough leftovers for

This dish was a little too bland for my taste but my husband loved it just the way it is. I will try some of the tips from other reviews next time. It was very easy to make which I really liked.
