What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix

eggs

1/3

cup oil

1-1/3

cups brewed MAXWELL HOUSE Decaffeinated Coffee, cooled

cup firmly packed brown sugar

tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2

cup BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut

1/2

cup PLANTERS Walnut Pieces

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Beat cake mix with eggs, oil and coffee in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Pour evenly into 2 greased (9-inch) round cake pans.

MIX brown sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl. Stir in coconut and walnuts; sprinkle evenly over cake batter.

BAKE 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool completely on wire racks before removing cake layers from pans.

Great way to use left over coffee! I used regualar coffe. Have brought to office and rparites. Received rave reviews. Freezes well.

I was looking for something quick and easy AND yummy and I found it! I left out the coconut and walnuts as well, and it still turned out delicious! One of the best parts was the wonderful smell as it baked!! I will definitely cook this one up again!

I love this recipe! I'm making it again for the second time! It's very moist. This is great for having company over, because it makes plenty!
