Tese are more like a baked oven fry..not crispy. I have small children (6 and 4) they would not eat them. They did taste them before deciding they didn't like them. My husband loved them cause they are "real food".

If you take the sliced potatoes and cook them in the microwave for a few minutes--this will take some of the moisture out of the potatoes--making them much more crispy after baking them. Boiling will also work. To prevent cheese burn--add the cheese right after removing from oven and toss. The heat will be enough to "cook" the cheese.

I'm making it again even though after the first time I kinda burned them a little. However, I really like them and hope I get them perfect next time. Great flavor!

They tasted great. I think we sliced them too thin and they were a little burnt. Next time I would slice them thicker.

I've made this recipe twice. The first time, I didn't use cheese, and it took forever for them to get crispy. The second time, I used the cheese and patted the sliced potatoes with paper towel before tossing them in the dressing and cheese. The cheese and the extra drying helped them get MUCH crispier in the right amount of time. Yum!

Good - I think I got too much of the dressing on the pan so they didn't crisp up - I think with less moisture they will get more crispy - I also didn't use the cheese and instead added seasoning salt. I thought they were quite tasty.

I liked it but my kids did not. I left out the cheese. They were not as crispy as I expected.
