what you need

Take 1 cup milk and 1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping and mix & match your recipe from these options...

Jell-O Instant Pudding options	flavoring choices	cookie possibilities
Lemon	1/4 tsp. ground ginger	30 Nabisco Ginger Snaps
Vanilla	1 Tbsp. cocoa powder	30 Famous Chocolate Wafers
Chocolate	3/4 to 1 tsp. ground cinnamon	30 Chips Ahoy! Real Chocolate Chip Cookies
Butterscotch	1/2 tsp. vanilla	60 Nilla Wafers (makes 2 logs)

Then follow our 3 simple steps:

POUR milk into medium bowl. Add 1 pkg. (4-serving size) dry pudding mix and flavoring. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping.

SPREAD about 2 tsp. pudding mixture onto each cookie. Begin stacking cookies together, standing on edge on serving platter to make a log. Frost with remaining pudding mixture.

REFRIGERATE overnight. Cut diagonally to serve.

I have made this a couple times and my kids love it!!! I also brought it in for Teacher Appreciation week @ my kids school and they were asking for the recipe..

i made the chocolate/chips ahoy cake. when i put it in the fridge i was very worried, one because i made a few tiny mistakes and two because it just looked fun and i wasnt sure if the cookies woulf really soften that much. but it turned out amazing and the cookie were very soft, my mistakes disappeared. definately a huge hit with my boyfriend and his friends! now im going to try the nilla wafers one but with french vanilla pudding.

We really liked this fun to make treat on Valentines Day. Next time we are going to skip the cinnamon and see which we like best.

Very good. I made this for my cousins and everyone liked it. It was creamy, rich and very delicious. I will definitely make it again.

I made the ginger/lemon version. I had my doubts about the cookies softening enough but it actually tasted like cake! I will try this again in other flavors

This was a great tasting recipe!! I made the buttersotch, but I used too much pudding mix between the cookies-- I guess when you have 60 wafers vs 30, you need to use less... just a heads up for anyone else that's going to make the butterscotch.
