I make this for my Mom on her birthday and she loves it. She's diabetic and I used sugar free products. It's really easy to make and very good.

i used the watermelon jello with the strawberries.i thought that would be a zinger when you ate it.i was wrong.i didnt have a serrated knife to begin with.i didnt have cool whip either.so i used icing which didnt turn out the way i thought.when you cut into it,i thought i would see the jello and the strawberries like the picture.but i didnt.it came out as 2 pieces of cake instead of one.which defeats the whole purpose of the surprise part.i dont think i will make this again.

This recipe was such a hit with everyone. It was really easy to make. The first time I tried it, I made 2 at the same time (cause the BF was jealous). It was so simple. Now I have request from everyone. =oD

This was harder than I imagined. I baked a fresh cake, but if I did it again, I would just buy one. My topping never thickened and was runny. Once I assembled the cake, it started to fall (my walls were too thin), so be careful to leave thick walls. The jello made it very tasty, but it wasn't my favorite dish I've made.

I have made the strawberry and the orange versions of this cake. It always goes fast. The last time I made both of them, I shaved dark chocolate over the top. It was wonderful!

Excellant flavor for less calories, especially when using sugar-free jello. Also, it is a very attractive desert with many options.

I made this recipe as one of my desserts for our Easter Dinner. It was extremely flavorful and the family members and friends that did try it, loved it. I would definitely make this again. It made a great Holiday Dessert.
