Daisy Cake recipe

He loves me, he loves me not…? It really doesn't matter, because there's cake. You'll fall hard for this lemony treat featuring sweet coconut and fluffy marshmallows.

The cake tasted great. My friends thought it was perfect and loved the lemon taste. It is a time consuming cake to decorate and you need a large area to place the cake on but it is worth it!
This cake was fabulous! I used applesauce instead of oil and I didn't totally ice the petals, only on the tops (and used store bought icing). At any rate I had people asking for the recipe, asking if it was homemade and I don't even like cake and I loved it. Plus the birthday girl was beside herself because she had a flower cake.
This cake was fun and a very cute addition to a Sunday meal. It was nice that the petals were already cut and people could just each serve themselves one to east.
I made this cake for my daughter's Daisy troop. It was a big hit! My only complaint was frosting all the petals and putting the marshmallows on it. It was very tedious and messy! Overall, it was a fun cake to serve.
I made this very cute cake for my daughter's 13th birthday. All of her friends, as well as herself, just loved it. I thought it would be difficult to make but it was actually very fun and went together very easily.
I would make it again under the right conditions but it was ALOT of work. The only problem I had with it was frosting the petals with whipped cream. That was not easy!
I made this for my 4 yr old daughter's birthday party. Everyone loved it! I loved how easy it really was. The "petals" of the cake were rather small and easily fell over. Next time I make this recipe I will cut larger pieces.
I made this cake for my daughter's 1st birthday. She got the middle. I used colored marshmellos for the petals. What a treat!!!
Not that easy to make but its beautiful for spring parties.
I'm not artsy fartsy, so this was a challenge for me, but once I got in the groove, it went along very nicely. It did take longer than the recommended time, but as a beginner, I figured it would. I did have trouble finding gummy bugs. It was my first attempt at doing any thing like this and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
