my son's friends & family love this & thank you for the help that was give on the tassles once i read it that helped out a lot. his colors are purple & yellow so i use frosting w food coloring to make it purple & use colored sugar sprinkled on top & yellow M&M's that i got from the M&M store online & the cake i used graped koolaid the fruit rollups were the hardest cause i had to buy so many boxes so i could make them all yellow but it all worked out just GR8 thank you
it looks really great
I made this recipe for my best friend who graduated from Texas Tech University. Everyone at the party loved the cupcakes. What a hit!!! I used red hots for the topper, and twizzlers pull-n-peel for the tassel. I would definitely recommend this recipe to anyone. Thanks Kraft!!!!
I just thought these were the cutest little things. I made a practice run and will make them for my niece's graduation party next month. I plan to make some caps all white using white chocolate and some caps all blue using blue tinted chocolate wafers and using blue koolade for the cupcakes. I find using royal icing works great to glue everything together. The tassels are hard but they can be made. Good luck!
thought it was a great idea had all the kids involved and used different colored tassles
I made just a plain french vanilla cupcake and instead of jelly beans I used peanut M&M's. I took me a couple of trys to make the tassels but I figured it out. They were a little time consuming but fun and everyone loved them.
these are so cute and perfect for graduation time. I did have a problem with using the fruit role-ups...They were too sticky! I instead used the twizzler pull and peels for the tassels. They were a little more cooperative
This is a great recipe for a graduation party I made them and every one thought they were really cool.
A excellente treat for this special time. End of the school year.
