I just had to make these for my son's graduating class. I surprised them at lunch one day and they ALL (including the guys) ranted and raved about they looked. They were so excited and just plain ecstatic that I had made them for them. I added one extra touch not mentioned in the original recipe. I melted white dipping chocolate and, using a piping bag with the smallest tip, piped their initials onto the corner (at a diagonal) to personalize each cap. Just superb idea! Thanks!!!

Went over Wonderfully, The Graduates Loved them!! I suggest adding food coloring to the recipe in the school's colors, it just adds that little bit extra!

Doing the tassels were hard. I'd like more instruction on how to make the tassels with the fruit roll ups. I actually ended up using the cloth miniture tassels I bought at Walmart in the Arts & Crafts section. I used the chocolate graham crackers instead of dipping the graham crackers in chocolate - that saved time. I used M & M's instead of jelly beans and used chocolate icing to stick the M & M's to the chocolate graham crackers. Over all my opinion, with a few changes to make it go faster, is this is a superb recipe!

I made the cupcakes and added red kool-aid to the batter. To the icing I added red food coloring and iced the graham crackers with the red icing as my grand daughter's school color is red and she wore a red graduation gown and cap. They were a real hit with the party goers. I used red jellybeans and made red tassels.

I used frosting instead of cool whip. Big hit at the party. I made them a day ahead though and the tassels melted overnight even though it was not hot. Everyone still loved them though!

I made the cupcakes for a graduation party, but the tassels were impossible to make out of the fruit roll ups. I ended up using the pull apart licorice instead. I cut them into 3" lengths and pinched 4 strands together to make the tassels. I would also suggest using frosting instead of cool whip because it is sticky than the cool whip.

This was made for my grandson's graduation. They were the cutest little cupcakes and everyone seemed to enjoy them very much. Would love to help anyone that needs help with the tassels.
