I made this recipe for a family dinner and it was a smash hit. Everyone raved about it, now my husband is begging me to make it for his work potluck. The only thing that I always have problems with and had it with this was the crust. It was really hard on the edges and softer in the center. Not sure why, but it didn't steal away from the over-all enjoyment of the desert.
This was awesome! Mine turned out just like the picture. I do recommend watching the "Cheesecake 101" video if this is your first cheesecake, and keeping in mind the amount of total cooling time involved. This was my first cheesecake, and it turned out great. The top cracked a little, but of course the cool whip covered it and nobody knew - mine looked just like the picture! For one of the 3 cream cheese packages, I did substitute a "light" package, but you couldn't tell. I will definitely make this again!
I am new to the world of cheesecake making and I found this recipe to be very easy. Plus it was extremely delicious. My husband even liked it and he doesn't normally like cheesecake. A definite make again dessert!!
This was a great recipe. We did substitue the crust with chocolate chip Teddy Grahams and it turned out wonderful. The cheesecake was so smooth and delicious. It was very rich which allowed us to spilt it amongst 9 people and still have several pieces left.
I made this Chocolate Cheese Cake for Easter, it was AWSOME!!! Everyone loved it, including my husband who normally doesn't like cheese cake. We fought over who was going to eat the last slice.
This cheesecake was smooth, delicious, and very chocolately. We served it with whipped cream, and it was heavenly and so easy to make.
It was a hit at my party! (not a crumb left)
YUM!! YUM!! This cheesecake takes the "Cake" It is really rich; a little slice is sufficient. When it's slightly warm the flavor really comes out. Definetly make this...soon!!
I've made this cheesecake twice! It is fabulous, and I have never made a cheesecake before trying out this one! Mine looked just like the picture and my family are now cheesecake lovers...for this one. A big THANK YOU to Kraft for your wonderful and easy recipes!!
