What You Need

broiler-fryer chicken (3 lb.), cut up

tsp. each garlic powder and onion powder

1/2

tsp. each ground red pepper (cayenne) and black pepper

1/2

tsp. dried thyme leaves

1/2

tsp. ground cinnamon

Tbsp. lime juice

1/2

cup BULL'S-EYE Brown Sugar & Hickory Barbecue Sauce

Make It

HEAT grill to medium heat. Trim and discard excess fat from chicken.

MIX seasonings in small bowl until well blended; stir in lime juice to form paste. Rub onto chicken.

PLACE chicken, skin-side up, on grill; cover with lid. Grill 25 min., turning and brushing with 1/4 cup barbecue sauce after 15 min. Turn chicken over; brush with remaining barbecue sauce. Grill 5 min. or until chicken is done (165°F).

Used skinless, boneless chicken breast and marinated for about 4 hours before putting them on the grill. Had a really good taste. Husband and I both enjoyed. Will make again...

Very good. I cooked it in the oven. The cinnamon added an unusual and good taste. I doubled the lime juice and let it marinade over night before cooking it.

This recipie got a thunbs up from the entire family! It had great flavors that mingled well with each other, however, I did marinate it for a day then bar-b-qued it!

Great taste, awesome overall experience. My family normally does not like bones, and when they heard what I was doing, they weren't too happy. That changed once they tried it! :-) I had to do the rub recipe twice, in order to do all the chicken properly. Definately will do again.

I made this for guest and it was a hit I love it I did use you my favorite BBQ sauce and next time I do make it I will use a teaspoon of jerk seasoning instead of the ground pepper just to see how it will come out but it is good just as it is it's a keeper thanks

I marrinated over night and the flavors blended very well. Even my too picky boyfriend loved it. I've prepared this recipe multiple times.
