i think this cake is awsome
I made this cake for my daughter's 12th birthday party spa/sleepover theme. It came out great--just like the picture, and tasted great. I would put the jelly beans on right before serving because they did run a bit. I made the icing according to the recipe and it was really good. We followed the party ideas too, and the girls LOVED the at home spa!
Next time I would not use the peanut butter cookies, they did not add anything to the recipe and they got very soggy under the frosting. The pudding in the cool whip was also unneccesary. Put the jellybeans on top just before serving to prevent the colors from running. My kids enjoyed decorating the faces and dying the coconut. Unfortunately no one likes to eat it.
it seems a little fattening for growing children.
