This dip is so yummy! I've made both this dip and the regular cheeseburger dip and I prefer this version. It has much more flavor. I've made it with the 2% Velveeta and the regular and there was no difference in taste or consistency. Use lean ground beef and reduced fat Velveeta if you want to cut out a few calories.

I added a can of cream of mushroom soup and simmered on medium in a croc-pot and it was an INSTANT hit!

I have made this recipe in the past a bit differently, but thought I would try this for New Year's Eve. Now I wish I would have stuck to my old recipe. It was "ok". I made it in the crockpot to keep it warm for guests. I will not make it again following these ingredients. We did not think it was spicy at all, so we added sliced jalapenos from a jar. It was still a bit bland.....I may try this recipe again but drain a little bit of the juice from the tomatoes and green chilis, and maybe add some taco seasoning to the ground beef.

This recipe was really easy to make. The best part was using my left over taco meat in place of the regular browned ground meat. It added an extra zest that my family and friends love!
