Sizzlin' Chicken Skewers

The delicious combination of ingredients mixed with BBQ sauce and soy sauce makes this chicken-on-a-stick a moist and tasty treat.

What You Need

1/3

cup hot water

1/4

cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

1/4

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

1/4

cup lite soy sauce

1/4

cup chopped fresh cilantro

Tbsp. GREY POUPON Savory Honey Mustard

lb. boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 12 thin strips

Make It

MIX water, barbecue sauce, peanut butter, soy sauce, cilantro and mustard in medium bowl with wire whisk. Refrigerate half of the mixture to use as a dipping sauce. Pour remaining mixture into large resealable plastic bag. Add chicken; seal bag. Shake gently to coat chicken. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours to marinate.

PREHEAT grill to medium-high heat. Thread chicken onto 12 skewers in ribbon fashion; discard any remaining marinade in bag.

GRILL 5 to 7 min. or until chicken is cooked through. Serve with the reserved dipping sauce.

Make it Easy

To easily cut chicken into strips, use a sharp knife, and cut while the chicken is partially frozen.

Cooking Know-How

If using wooden skewers, soak in water 30 min. before using to prevent them from burning.

This is awesome. So yummy! I made this recipe for the adults who attended my daughter's birthday party. I doubled this recipe and could have tripled it. Boy was it a hit!!

My familiy LOVES this dish. Even my 2 year old. I have never grilled it though, I cook the chicken in a large skillet with the sauce. The sauce thickens up really nicely when cooked. Be careful because it can burn on the bottom of the skillet. I've made this for guests many times. Wonderful!

My husband and I both loved these. My husband didn't care for the dipping sauce, but it wasn't necessary to use. It was messy to put the strips on the skewers, but worth it. Very tender and tasty.

I attempted to add veggies to skewers and it didn't work out too well. The chicken was very good and next time I'll cook them alone.

it was good I doubled up on everything but I used slightly less peanut butter. Everyone enjoyed it but my husband he said it tasted funny, couldn't put his finger on it. He is extremely picky though.
