Key Lime Margarita Pie

Key Lime Margarita Pie recipe
While there’s no alcohol in this creamy frozen dessert, it sure tastes real. The hint of salt comes from the pretzel crust, while the citrus zip is in the creamy filling.

Instead of pretzels I used a graham cracker crust and lemonade Kool-Aid (cannot locate lime Kool-Aid)

this is an excellent, quick dessert. but i used the whole tub of cool whip rather than setting aside 1/2 cup for topping. and i used a graham chacker crust. Wonderful!

Have made this a few times already and we love it every time. Have not been able to find the lemon-lime Kool-aid so I have used regular lemonade flavor and even pink lemonade once. Still was delicious and refreshing. It is the BEST for a hot summer day. Have only used grahm cracker premade crust so far but after all of the comments about the pretzel crust, I will be trying that next. Seems to be worth the effort.

VERY GOOD. I DIDN'T DO THE PIE CRUST IN THE RECIPE. I JUST USED A GRAHAM CRACKER PRE-MADE. VERY GOOD. I ALSO USED MY BAKE-N-FILL PANS AND USE CAKE BATTER. IN THE MIDDLE WAS THE KEY LIME MIX AND THE REST OF THE KEY LIME MIX I PUT SOME ON TOP. JUST LETTING IT HANG OVER THE SIDES. THE APPEARANCE LOOKS GREAT. EVERYONE THOUGHT IT WAS A FANCY CAKE.

Like the crust. Salty & sweet, were just right. Easy to make. Baked my crust for a few minutes, and it stayed nice & crisp.

This recipe is great for warm weather, very refreshing after being in the sunshine. My kids thought the pretzels were a little salty, I will try pretzels with less salt content next time.
