Key Lime Margarita Pie

Key Lime Margarita Pie recipe
While there’s no alcohol in this creamy frozen dessert, it sure tastes real. The hint of salt comes from the pretzel crust, while the citrus zip is in the creamy filling.

Love the flavor of the key lime and salt from the pretzels. Made this a few times this summer...every one loved it.

Instead of using a crust at all, I have simply spooned the filing into dessert dishes. It makes a wonderfully refreshing pudding-type dessert that all who have eaten it rave about. ~~~A note for those who think the recipe is too tart, cut down on the lemon-lime cool aid, using only 1/2 package=1/2 tsp.

This pie was super easy to make (my 4 yr old son helped) and very tasty! The pretzel crust was a refreshing change from the standard graham cracker. I'll be making and sharing this recipe again!

This is what a key lime pie should taste like. It really puckers your pucker.

This dessert was very good - different, yet good. It had a tang to it, so it is not overly sweet (which I personally prefer). Mom loved it, friend loved it, hubby thought it was pretty good.
