Key Lime Margarita Pie

Key Lime Margarita Pie recipe
While there’s no alcohol in this creamy frozen dessert, it sure tastes real. The hint of salt comes from the pretzel crust, while the citrus zip is in the creamy filling.

I, too, used the easy way out and bought a graham cracker crust, but it was still very popular. I could not find lemon lime koolaid anywhere and substituted a powered limeade mix.

I used the pre-made graham cracker crust and everyone loved this recipe. Dip a knife in hot water to help when you are slicing. VERY key limey!

I used Splenda, instead of the sugar, as I have several friends that are diabetic. No one could tell the difference. I was even told I could make money selling them. The texture was so smooth and creamy and the pretzel crust a nice change from graham crackers.

I made this and took it to a friend's party. Everyone loved it. So easy to make but I think I would use a graham cracker crust next time.

turned out good! but instead of the pretzels, i used graham cracker crumbs... the lemon-lime kool aid was kind of hard to find though

Everyone loved this. I used 1/4 cup of tequila and 1/4 cup of lime juice for a real margarita taste.

I Need to find a substitute for the sweetened condesed milk

To Mitch - Substitute 6 oz. frozen limeade concentrate for the lime juice & powdered drink mix. You can also choose lemonade, pink lemonade or orange juice!! This is an awesome pie - been eating/making it for 30 years!! We grew up on it.

This sounds great but I can't make it because I can't find Lemon Lime Kool-Aid in my area! Can anyone suggest a substitute? I know better than to try Crystal Light products because of that potent artificial sugar taste that overtakes all the other flavors in a recipe.
