Key Lime Margarita Pie

Key Lime Margarita Pie recipe
While there’s no alcohol in this creamy frozen dessert, it sure tastes real. The hint of salt comes from the pretzel crust, while the citrus zip is in the creamy filling.

I love this recipe. I've made it on several occasions for parties and it's always a crowd-pleaser. The combination of sweet and salty is just right. It's a wonderful summertime treat.

I made this for my boyfriend as a suprise after he did well in 2 bagpipe competitions. Key lime pie is his favorite food of all time. I've made this before, but used a premade crust. I actually prefer the premade crust in terms of flavor as the pretzels were a little much.

The pretzel crust is genius. The slightly salty crust balances out tartness. Just make sure to buy reduced salt pretzels and reduce the amount of kool-aid and lime juice, otherwise it is way too tart. eat it frozen like an ice cream cake.. sO yummy.

We LOVED the pretzel crust, in fact my daughter was eating it while I was making the filling so we had to make more crust. Unfortunatley the pie was too tart for us. But I still love kraftfoods.com:)

I made it with Graham Cracker and Oreo crust, I liked the graham better. My co-workers ate it up!

I thought it was very simple to make . I used a ready made pie shell instead of the crushed pretzels.

I made this pie for one of my co-workers last year for her birthday & she loved it. Her birthday is this week & she said she wants me to make it for her again this year. It is really easy & simple to make. Yummy in the tummy!
