Key Lime Margarita Pie

While there’s no alcohol in this creamy frozen dessert, it sure tastes real. The hint of salt comes from the pretzel crust, while the citrus zip is in the creamy filling.

What You Need

1-1/4

cups finely crushed pretzels

1/4

cup sugar

Tbsp. butter, melted

can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk

1/2

cup lime juice

env. KOOL-AID Lemon-Lime Flavor Unsweetened Drink Mix

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Make It

COMBINE pretzel crumbs, sugar and butter; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Refrigerate until ready to fill.

WHISK next 3 ingredients in large bowl until blended. Stir in 2-1/2 cups COOL WHIP; pour into crust.

FREEZE 6 hours or until firm. Remove from freezer 15 min. before serving; let stand at room temperature until slightly softened. Top with remaining COOL WHIP.

This is SO good! I love the pretzel crust - however if it sets a couple of days it will get quite soft (the pretzels) but it is tangy and delicious. My 9 yr. old loved it!

Easy, terrifically tart! To garnish each piece I used a few squirts of whipped cream and crossed 3 pretzel sticks. My guests gave rave reviews as it was light enough for all to eat even after a big dinner. I will definitely make this again and again without making any adjustments!

I made this for St. Patrick's day family party, everyone loved it, said the pretzels went perfect. Everyone wanted the recipe, I told them its so easy to make!

I also served this pie for St. Patrick's Day. It was tart and tasty, but my crust did not hold together. Next time I'll try a ready made graham cracker crust.

I made this pie for a St.Patrick's Party and everyone loved it and I had to make another one for the family I live with the next day....It was a hit.The one for the party, I actually put 1/4lime juice and 1/4 tequila, it was better than the other one...everyone loved it.
