Key Lime Margarita Pie

Key Lime Margarita Pie recipe
While there’s no alcohol in this creamy frozen dessert, it sure tastes real. The hint of salt comes from the pretzel crust, while the citrus zip is in the creamy filling.

I used sweetened fat-free condensed milk and fat-free Cool Whip and the results were very satisfactory.

After you make this pie (super yummy!), try making it again but substitute Strawberry-Lemonade Kool-Aid for the Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid, lemon juice for the lime juice, strawberry Cool Whip for the plain Cool Whip, and use a graham cracker or shortbread/vanilla cookie crust. Yummy!

I made this recipe for a ladies group at church. They all loved it. The most telling sign - no leftovers! I did like the pretzel crust. The salty pretzels made the pie less tart.

This recipe was very refreshing and easy. My husband liked it so much I had to make another one. I used a ready made graham cracker curst which was better to me than the crushed pretzels.

I was surprised how delicious this recipe was especially using a powdered drink. I made the pie and share it with my co-workers. I had to share the recipe with them.
