I used nilla wafers, crushed. After the jam, I added the cream cheese mixture. Then I used frozen blueberries, thawed. And pushed them in the cream cheese mixture, just slightly.YUM,either way!

I refrigerated the crust for about 15 minutes before spreading the jam on top. This helps keep the crust from lifting

This recipie is delicious. Made it for a picnic. I would use 7 or 8 Tbsp. of butter next time, my crust was a little dry and too crumbly. It was perfect the second time. Looked like the picture!!!!! My kids loved it.

These bars were delicious and melted in your mouth. They remind me of a danish. Very, very good!!!

easy preparation - i used light philadelphia cream cheese and light butter - it was delicious and a huge success at the cookout i took it to! I am going to make again and use cherries or strawberries and cherry or strawberry jam!

Everyone that i served this to liked it better than i did.I had a problem with not having enough preserves to spread all the way to the edges of the pan. i recommend starting with two jars to be sure you have enough.
