These are fantastic and a definite crowd pleaser. I like to take these to potlucks, picnics, and BBQs. Someone always asks for the recipe. My husband's favorite dessert!

I made this for a family reunion. It disappeared in less than twenty minutes! I was asked for the recipe again and again.

I haven't made this yet, but was wondering. Would you be able to put the cherry pie filling in as you fruit filling or would it be to heavy. I may go ahead and try it. Any reason to cook another one can't be all that bad.........I'll let you know

Definitely, in fact I made it again using strawberry jam and fresh strawberries. It was great both ways. I had a hard time finding the blueberry jam. It was worth the effort.

I absolutely LOVED this dessert! There is a blueberry farm right near my house, so it is amazing with fresh blueberries! Since they're chilled, they're an amazing snack on a warm day (great for picnics, church potlucks, etc!)

I make this for every occasion and have gotten so many compliments to date! I usually add a little more sugar to the crust (to taste) and always buy a larger jar (12 oz.) of preserves. The more blueberries, the better as well! I've tried this recipe with strawberries, and while good, the blueberry still remains my favorite. This is the best recipe on the site!
