Layered Salad- ations is a perfect dish for low carb meals, tastes great and is very satisfying.

Normally when I make salad no on comments on it. I made this for my grandparents, and my family. Everyone told me how much they loved this. And they demanded that I make this again. It tasted even better the next day. My grandfather ( a VERY picky man when it come's to food) was cought eating the salad in the middle of the night. It was funny.

excellent salad, add a tsp each of sugar & prepared mustard to dressing for better dressing. Sprinkle the cheese on top of dressing instead and add some sliced hard boiled eggs....

I have been doing this layered salad for years. As long as you do not toss it your lettuce will stay crisp for at least 3 days. This is a great dish to take camping,boating or to a covered dish. Also a good way to use up bits of this & that in the fridge.

I thought it made my lettuce soggy...which I don't much care for, but the flavor was good. Maybe I could add the lettuce as a 'last' step when taking it out of the fridge to improve on this receipe.
