The pizza roll ups are a huge hit at party's, especially during Super Bowl!
I made this for dinner tonight just like recipe directed. My three kids 9, 8, and 4 loved it. We used thin crust dough and it cooked just fine.
The dough in the center was not cooked yet the bottom was almost burned! I would not recommend this recipe.
My husband and I loved this. Although I used Italian blend cheese, and added black olives, green bell peppers (diced), more diced onions then recipe stated and about 5-6 some pepperoni slices (cut into squares). Best pizza I've ever made or tasted!
The kids ask for this every weekend for lunch, and the love to help make it. Of course we leave out the onions. Sometimes we use deli ham. It's great everytime.
Wasn't very impressed and either was my 9-year old. I thought it lacked flavor. After 15 minutes of cooking and 5 minutes of cooling I cut it in half and the dough on the inside still wasn't cooked so I left it in two pieces and had to cook it for another 10 minutes for the dough to be completely cooked throughout which made the top of the bread hard. I will stick with a similar recipe I have rolling the meat and cheese in a crescent roll and baking.
My husband and I loved it. I used shaved ham instead of the shaved turkey. We ate this as a meal along with a side of salad. I will definitely be making this recipe again.
This recipe is so fast and easy and it's delicious! I've made it with chopped onion, sliced green pepper, canadian bacon, and sliced pepperoni. Also, have made it with just pepperoni. I'm going to make it for Halloween only roll it long end to long end and form like a snake, cut a forked tongue from a red pepper and use olives with pimento for eyes. There are so many possible combinations of ingredients for this recipe. Will keep as one of our favorites!
My whole family loved this recipe. We had this as the main course along with a salad.
Let's just say... its good!!! It is simple to make but doesn't taste like it. This recipe might be good with something other then turkey. We will try it and let you know!!
