Spinach-Stuffed Mushrooms

What You Need

1-1/2

cups hot water

pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

fresh mushrooms (2 lb.)

Tbsp. butter

cloves garlic, minced

pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, well drained

cup KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 400ºF.

ADD hot water to stuffing mix in large bowl; stir just until moistened. Set aside. Remove stems from mushrooms; chop stems. Melt butter in skillet on medium heat. Add chopped stems and garlic; cook and stir 5 min. or until tender. Add to stuffing with spinach and cheeses; mix well.

SPOON into mushroom caps. Place, filled-sides up, in shallow pan.

BAKE 20 min. or until mushrooms are tender and filling is heated through.

Leftover Stuffing?

Mushrooms vary in size. Any leftover stuffing mixture can be served as a side dish with baked chicken.

These were a big hit at the Christmas party. One thing that worked really well was that I put the stuffing mixture into a gallon-sized plastic bag and cut a small hole in the corner to squeeze the mixture into the mushrooms. They were delicious!

I made these for an appetizer for my husband's birthday because he LOVES mushrooms.They were gone FAST! Even those who weren't mushroom lovers commented on how good they tasted! I used turkey stuffing instead of chicken because the next day was Thanksgiving, but none left to serve! I would definitely make them again & plan to!

I made these to take to a friends house. They were delicious and all gone! I had leftover stuffing which I used to stuff a few chicken breasts.

Did not care for the spinach. Made this recipe last night and had to throw it couldn't stand the taste. I think it would be good with out the spinach. Maybe will try that next time.

I served this a Thanksgiving as an appetizer and it was a big hit. They are very easy to make and I will definatly serve them again!!

I made these for our Thanksgiving celebration and they were a huge hit with everyone. I will definitely make them again over the Christmas holidays. Thanks Kraft, this is my all time favorite food website, I can always find something easy and delicious to make for gatherings or for just my family.
