Spinach-Stuffed Mushrooms

What You Need

1-1/2

cups hot water

pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

fresh mushrooms (2 lb.)

Tbsp. butter

cloves garlic, minced

pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, well drained

cup KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 400ºF.

ADD hot water to stuffing mix in large bowl; stir just until moistened. Set aside. Remove stems from mushrooms; chop stems. Melt butter in skillet on medium heat. Add chopped stems and garlic; cook and stir 5 min. or until tender. Add to stuffing with spinach and cheeses; mix well.

SPOON into mushroom caps. Place, filled-sides up, in shallow pan.

BAKE 20 min. or until mushrooms are tender and filling is heated through.

Mushrooms vary in size. Any leftover stuffing mixture can be served as a side dish with baked chicken.

I made these mushroom caps and they were SOOO GOOOOOD! My fiance and I gobbled them up! They were easy to make and tasted like something you would order at a restaurant. I had a bunch of stuffing mix leftover, and used it to make stuffed shrimps the next day. I would definitely make this recipe again and serve it to my friends.

This recipe is great & very easy! I use low sodium Stove Top to cut back on the intake, and it is still very flavorful. To clean the mushrooms I use a melon baller to get more meat out of the mushrooms so you can fit more stuffing in! yum

This is so simple and has a great flavor. I also use the Italian 5 cheese to top the mushrooms.

I love stuffed mushrooms but this recipe is not very good. It was pretty bland and not that exciting.

My family and I just loved these mushrooms. The simplicity of making them enabled me to serve other appetizers as well. I will definitely keep them on my "keeper" list.
