Tried this at home a couple weeks ago... my wife and I loved it. Next time I will probably marinate the chicken in a soy sauce based marinade because it seemed to be little lacking in the soy taste. Also I might add a little more crushed red pepper- we both thought it needed just a little more heat - maybe next time I'll add a little chili sauce.
Mmmm, so good. Quick and easy to make. I used frozen stir fry veggies. This made my husband eat snap peas! This is a good meal to make when you want to order out but are on a budget.
WOW!...Great recipie! Quick, easy and delicious. Definately double the sauce and spice ie: Kraft Catalina dressing, soya sauce and crushed peppers. Next time I will double the whole leftovers with this one! A new mealtime favorite in our home!
It tastes just like take-out! It was very easy to make, and it tasted very good too! I would definitely double the sauce - that's what I did!
The sauce is very good, I was surprised b/c I wasn't sure how the Catalina would make it taste. I cooked 4 chicken breasts whole then took them out of the pan, sauted the veggies, cut the chicken, then added it back to the pan when I made the sauce. Worked just the same.
Everyone loved this. I actually ran out of it before we were all done eating :) Next time I'll know to make more.
Great flavor! Next time I will salt the chicken before sauteing it, and will make chicken pieces thinner so that each piece has more flavor.
I ended up adding more soy sauce and dressing and a touch of water to make more of a sauce for the rice. I cooked that with the veggies so the meat would not end up being boiled at all.
Great dish and very easy to make! I left out the peppers and carrots per personal preference and just upped the peas and mushrooms and it was still wonderful. I had to change the ratio of dressing:soy sauce in the sauce to taste, the soy tended to be too much.
This recipe was great! I doulbed the ingredients because I wanted more sauce for the vegetables rice and chicken
