Pecan Bars

Pecan Bars recipe
The crust of these bars tastes like a sugar cookie, and the filling tastes like pecan pie. But the best part is how many treats you’ll have to share!

This has become a regular in my Christmas cookie line-up! Everyone, from kids to teachers to foreign exchange students LOVE these bars! I make several batches, because they freeze well. The hope is that they last well past Christmas, but they never do! They are a little more involved than mix & drop cookies, but well worth the extra effort! They look great (take your time cutting them) and taste divine!

My whole family loves these. I made them for Christmas one year and now I've been required to bring them every year.

This is definitely a keeper :-) I took these to a family Christmas dinner where most everyone there cooks and bakes quite a bit and these were a big hit! I will definitely make these again and again!

Yum Yum, It's like little pecan pies just not as sweet. I will definitely make these again.

These pecan bars were the best. I had to make more, they were gobbled up right away!

This will now replace pecan pie at our house. I don't see how you can cut into 60 pieces though. The bars would be bite size pieces. It made 36 bars

Anyone who has tried these cookies LOVES them! I use walnuts also and they are still just as great. Our favorite!
